2 DAY 1 NIGHT TOUR DE LANGKAWI

Langkawi >>> we come again!!







End of this week... 'PP Mtb C' members will go to Langkawi. They are:

1. Hj Nik
2. Elwyn
3. Azam
4. Ari
5. Hj Idris (Andak)
6. Azreen (Buyen)
7. Nazeri (Abg Long)
8. Yus

This is not the first time...trip to Langkawi. The 4th time i think...Almost every year..cycling to Langkawi will be include in our cycling calendar.

The Wilderness Challenge is one of the activities in Tuba Island, Langkawi. See the clip video.






The tentavive of our programme as per list:


DAY1 (30/1/2010) - Saturday

08:00 Depart from Kuala Perlis to Kuah, Langkawi.
09:00 Depart from Kuah to Tuba Island.
10:00 Pulau Dayang Bunting (Island of the Pregnant Lady) tour by boat. (3-5 hours)
-trekking & swimming xtvt at Dayang Bunting Lake
-pack lunch

15:00 Cycling around Tuba & Dayang Bunting Island .
20:00 Dinner (sea food)
22:00 Fishing xtvt - bring your own fishing rod.
Overnight at Tuba Island Chalet.


DAY2 (31/1/2010) - Sunday

08:00 Depart from Tuba Island to Kuah, Langkawi.
09:00 Cyling from Kuah to hill foot 'Gunung Raya' - 20Km from Kuah
10:00 Cycling up to Gunung Raya - 10++Km uphill & 10++ Km downhill

14:00 Return to Kuah, Jetty. - 20Km to Kuah
16:00 Return to Kuala Perlis.
17:00 The journey END.

Note:

Budget per head = RM150 to RM200
1. Ferry & bicycle - Kuala Perlis > Kuah > Kuala Perlis : RM56/head
2. Boat to Dayang Bunting Lake : RM20/head (estimated)
3. Chalet - twin sharing : RM50/night
4. Food & drinks : RM50-80

Hopefully all programme...as per plan.

Baru keluar dari pertapaan....

Salam sejahtera kpd pengikut, pembaca, peminat blog ni...

Beberapa hari yg lepas..menjengah sebentar mtb my TREK yang dah lama tersimpan dalam stor di rumah.

Nak kena mula balik ni...berkayuh...dah lama..bertapa..


Dah penuh...bersawang (sarang labah-labah)

















Sedikit minyak pelincir....'multi purpose oil'.
Murah ja minyak ni...tapi baguih...

Bahagian-bahagian tertentu terutama rantai, brake, shifter dan lain-lain yg difikirkan perlu ...perlu diletakkan pelincir

























Kayuhan pertama..sekitar..kampung berhampiran rumah...kemudian kayuh sampai 'Gunung Medan'...

Jalan naik dan turun...semuanya berturap....ok lah 2X naik dan turun..






3 - 4 hari sebelum tu.. jogging dulu...mula-mula...2 km...pastu..naik lagi..3 km...dan last sekali 5 km...jogging dgn anak-anak ikut mini tar...

Ini bagi membuat sedikit persediaan sebelum...mula berkayuh...

Lepas tu...basuh la sikit dan keringkan air yg masih ada di body basikal tu...

Melabur atau gunakan duit utk beli alatan untuk beriadah ni..tak rugi...

Semasa berkayuh...peralatan keselamatan seperti helmet jangan la lupa....jika terjatuh...bahagian kepala lah yang paling terdedah...bila dah terkena...baru nak menyesal...tiada guna dah....
