SATUN FUN RIDE 1/2009 - 21 FEB 2009

The mountain bike cycling from Kangar (Stadium Utama) to Satun (Thailand) on 21/2/09 (Saturday) happend as planned.
The EVENT:

Point A
0745hrs: Assemble at Stadium Utama
0800hrs: Flag Off
>>>>>>Breakfast on the way to Wang Kelian at the shop (Roti canai + boil egg etc)
Point B
1100hrs: Reach at Wang Kelian (Lunch)
Point C
1430hrs: Reach at Satun
Point D
1700hrs: Tammalang to Kuala Perlis (by boat/ferry)
1800hrs: Arrived at Kuala Perlis & cycle to Stadium Utama / home
1900hrs: Finish

Total distance : 88 + 10 = 98 km (100% on road)
Total distance : 160 km (jonz & ronz - cycling back to Kangar from Satun)

All riders get their goodiess before start their ride "air cap badak + power gel + kurma madu" to support & increase their energy during riding... After short briefing & doa...the riding start at 0810hrs...

After 10km ride stop for breakfast...


Then the ride continue until Wang Kelian...






After full force climb up the hill...wait for a while...at the hill top

Rescue to the rider...who get muscle stuck..?who is it...








The border..where you submit the passport or border pass (Malaysia & Thailand)


Lunch at Wang Kelian...before continue ride to Satun



Arrive at the Satun...15 km to go before reach at city centre...



Self treatment before continue the ride..

Total distance when reach Satun from Kangar. Another 10 km to Tammalang port..


Flat & quality road to Tammalang Port..


The strategy..to get 50km/h without..loss your energy...


Together with abuomar..basikal gunung

From far..Tammalang port..we will come again..insyaAllah

After 10 minute..on the boat...flat..follow by heavy rain...everybody get wet..after more than 3 month not raining..Alhamdulillah




Reach at Kuala Perlis..everybody want to be at the front..then continue cycling to kangar..another 10km...
